Back for the Autumn

Sorry I have not been posting recently. I was away a lot over the summer months and the office has been so busy in September I hardly had time to catch my breath. This is a good day to start blogging again. I appeared this afternoon on the Sharon Osbourne show and coincidentally I also appeared on a Channel 4 documentary about mistresses. In fact we have lots of publicity coming up over the next few month especially in the quality press.

We also have our big winter party happening at the end of November so Loving links is in for a really busy time.

Glamour Magazine Aug issue

There is a major feature article in the august issue of Glamour mag on infidelity dating sites. Loving links features heavily of course and there is even a pic of yours truly :) It has to be said that the tone of the article is rather biased against the infidelity dating bizness and I did not feel that they were recommending me for a nobel prize! The Glamour readership is a bit younger than our main target but at least the 20 year olds know that we exist so they can find us easily in their 30's and 40's :)

cosmic ordering

I recently read the book 'Cosmic ordering' which Noel Edmonds atributes so much of his recent success. Well, the other day I tried this out on an angling trip. Nobody was catching anything. I confidently called up the cosmic ordering service and asked for a tench - my float shot down in 10 secs and hey presto a tench! A few minutes later I asked for a crucian carp and off went the float. Nobody else was catching a thing. Then I got more ambitious and asked for a 5 pound tench... 3 mins later I bagged a tench at 5 pounds 7 ounces. Spooky or what...? Finally a the end of the day I asked for a last minute order of a crucian carp to be delivered in the next 8 mins - it arrived with 2 mins to spare.

Portnoy's not complaining

I had a call yesterday from a woman wanting to use loving links. As always I asked how she found us. she said the route was via Suzanne Portnoy who has written a book about liberated middle age female sex and was featured in the Times http://women.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,18030-2218708,00.html

I didnt see any direct reference to LL although she made mention of a 'swingers site'. I do hope Ms Portnoy is one of ours since she seems to be having a great time :)

Excuse my absence

Sorry for blank few days but the hayfever affected my eyes very badly and I did not wish to stare into my my monitor. Also blogger is sometimes impossibly slow to use and I just cannot log in. Interesting piece in 'You' mag today about mistresses which we are discussing on our bulletin board.

World cup has been uninspiring for bad behaviour with only the WAGS finding space in the tabloids. Maybe next week will bring some action between the sheets.

Thursday morning downer

You can always count on the Daily Mail to make you miserable. Their femail piece today on an affair that went wrong and the remnants of a broken home and the doe-eyed children at the door as daddy leaves with his belongings etc. Daddy ends up in bed-sit in post-divorce decor and his Russian mistress goes back to St Petersburg. Well as we always say at loving links - if you are going to have an affair do it right!! Be guided by the experts.

Engerland - here we go..
